Is there a monthly subscription fee?
No. We believe in growing alongside our creators. Currently, we only charge a 15% commission per successful order. For high-volume creators, we will introduce an optional Premium Membership in the future that lowers commission to 8% for a small monthly fee.
How do I get paid?
Earnings are credited to your seller wallet once the buyer confirms receipt of the item. You can then request a withdrawal to any Malaysian bank account. We process payouts on a monthly basis to ensure a steady cash flow for your studio.
Do I need a registered business (SSM)?
It is not mandatory. We welcome hobbyists and part-time makers. However, for security and compliance, all individual sellers must provide a copy of their IC/Passport and a bank statement header to verify their identity before receiving payouts.
Can I sell food items?
Currently, we are holding off on food items to ensure the highest hygiene and safety standards. We are focusing exclusively on handmade crafts, art pieces, and digital goods for the time being. We appreciate your patience as we build a certified food framework.
I’m not a Malaysian citizen; can I join?
Yes. If you are a resident in Malaysia with a valid long-term permit and a local bank account, you are welcome to apply. You will need to submit your passport and visa details for our KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process.
Can I sell to overseas customers?
Our standard platform is currently optimized for the Malaysian market. However, for artisans with high global potential, we are developing the “Kita Global Consignment” program to handle international logistics and payments in the future. Stay tuned for updates.
